in Oceanfront Island Campsites, MaineOur stay on the island was great! Flood's Cove is a spectacular spot, and we felt totally secluded (particularly as the only people out there for the night). We got lucky with clear skies and a great view of the stars, and spotted at least a dozen harbor seals (plus a swimming deer!) while sitting around the fire. The campsiteâwe stayed at #1âwas large, well-maintained, and in an amazing location just above the shoreline. Plus Scott was able to rent us a canoe and provide enough firewood for the night when we arrived. We're definitely hoping to come back soon.
