Fortunate Farm on the Coast
in Fortunate Farm, CaliforniaPast trip
in Love Creek Sanctuary!, CaliforniaWe brought our travel trailer and Shanna had a flat piece of land by the barn. The farm animals were wandering around upon our arrival and the kids loved it. The goats, pigs, alpacas, chickens, donkeys and others animals, along with the sunset, is what made the trip so enjoyable. The host was very welcoming and even set up a private gas fireplace for us. There was a nice bathroom in the mud room, with a shower, so we didnât need to fill our black water tank, and they let us dump our grey water in the grass. Overall we had a great time and would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to visit a small farm of rescued animals and avoid the typical overcrowded campsite experience.
Past trip
Old West Ranch Site #1
in Silver Fork Ranch, CaliforniaWe had site #1 and it was probably the most private. Close to the two port-o-potties which could be a good or bad thing depending on how you look at it. Area was a little windy and dusty but not to bad. Host was great and made sure we had everything we needed (firewood, water, picnic tables, etc.). Great trails throughout the property and the grinding stones were interesting. We drove to the waterfall and pools which was about 3 miles back down the road, water was cold but still nice. Overall a great campsite and great host!
