(Dispersed site)
Oenita has a beautiful property that we are so thankful we found! The site they call "The Pretty Spot" is in the middle of the meadow with an amazing view, but no shade. We opted to stay to the left on the property line that was perfectly shady/sunny mix with an amazing view of the mountains. As stated, is it primitive and it's on the side of a mountain so finding flats spots presented its challenges so I suggest bringing a mini shovel so you can safely have a campfire. Oenita (plus Tim, Elijah, and Lynn!) were the sweetest and such a pleasure to be around. Our only small issue was on day we were leaving...it took us 1 1/2 hours to find someone to take the UTV to our site so we could leave, which could have easily been rectified if we had set up a specific time for them to come get us. Other then that Oenita was very tentative to the texts and calls when we needed assistance (the sites on up a very steep gravel/dirt road, I'm sure some vehicles have the capacity to make it, ours did not so we were dependent on them getting us back up to the site when we came back with groceries or ice. I did the walk up with 2 gallons of water but I don't think I'd could have done much more. lol) Her beautiful property includes a hike to the top of the ridge line...it was challenging but so fun! Took us an hour to reach the top doing a little over a mile up. Thank you for your hospitality, we can't wait to return!
