Past trip
in Sierra Circles Sculpture Garden, CaliforniaIdeal for hosting a bday weekend
We hosted a gathering of 14 people for a Birthday party and had a fantastic time a Sierra circles. Michel was a consummate host going above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The outdoor camp shower was a plus for those in our party that were less camp experienced. Everyone enjoyed seeing the pottery studio and doing some wine tasting all right on the grounds.
Past trip
in The Meadow Grove of Hands Full Farm, CaliforniaGreat place to stay and explore
We stayed 2 nights in our class B and loved the setup. The spaces are nicely spread out, very peaceful surroundings and easy to get to from the Bay Area. We explored Dillon Beach and had a great dinner in Valley Forge. Bodega Bay is just quick ride away as well. We will stay here again when escaping to this part of the North Bay.

We brought our Class B down from the Bay Area for a late summer weekend and loved Mi Querida at Mission Ranch. Great setup for us and would super fun with a group of people as well. Nancy is a gracious host and has setup the property with lots of lovely spaces to take in the view and the ranch. Really nice to have a shower available and power as an option. Itâs also very convieniently located. We were able to explore Moss Beach, then into Castroville and then circled back through San Juan Bautista. All easily accessible and a little extra push could have gotten us to Monterey or Santa Cruz. Weâll be back!
Past trip
in Sierra Circles Sculpture Garden, CaliforniaPerfact van trip and concert night.
Our second time camping here in our van. Love the whole setup and vibe. Be sure to visit with Pam to learn about the pottery and ceramics heritage here and of course the winery. We lucked into one of their live shows on the grounds with a fantastic band ( the Hot Dark) which made for a fantastic summer night of entertainment, food and fun! We will be back and even more often now to enjoy the concert series.
Past trip
in SLO Country Camp, CaliforniaLaid back way to visit slo
Had a great weekend at SLO Country Camp while we enjoyed a quick visit with our kids at Cal Poly. Ken and Judi were ver welcoming, giving us the run down of the place and made us feel right at home. We loved the extras that have been made part of the site like the outdoor kitchen area and shower.
Quick easy access to downtown for some shopping and food was a bonus too. The camp is nearly the SLO regional airport but we werenât bothered in the least by noise and the flights seemed to halt altogether in the late evening.
Itâs a peaceful retreat and weâll be back on our next visit to SLO!

Jeff hasn't gone on any trips yet.

What find! We took our Class B here followed by our kids in a separate vehicle and stayed at Site #2. Spacious, well kept and all the sites feel private when compared to state parks. But, itâs the grounds, vineyard and ceramic operations that make this so fun. Itâs a just downright charming with the Michelâs sculptures on the grounds when mixed with the fun and creative lifestyle that these organizers have created. I hesitate to say this because I donât want the site to get to popular but if you are headed up HWY4 donât miss this site. Itâs very special.
