Enjoyed this simple and quiet spot. This was a great place to stop and rest for the night, hosts were very friendly and greeted me when I arrived. The site is not far from the freeway, yet is quiet enough to sleep and enjoy the beautiful sunsets the front range has to provide.

Had a nice evening stopping through and seeing the stars out here. Rhonda was an excellent host meeting me at the entrance and guiding me into the spot, providing firewood and water too! Would definitely stay here again, easy spot 15 minutes off the freeway, but far enough away you feel really far out in nature!

This was an all around great camping experience. Willard was a great host and was available via phone when we got to the site. There is plenty of wide open spaces and spots to set up, so that was a real treat. When we arrived we were greeted by Scott and dogs in tow. They showed us where we could set up and where the portapotty was available.
It was windy being mid April, but the sunset and night sky were well worth it. Just bring enough tie downs if you plan to go this time of year because the valley does get a direct constant breeze because of the mountains itâs up against. The stars real shines brightly and the city lights from neighboring Hysperia werenât that intrusive.
The sunset was so incredible I wasnât expecting it being so close to LA. Itâs about an hour out of San Bernardino.
We had fun walking around the valley and seeing the small ground flowers in bloom. There is a giant metal fence property with Bulls across the way that was fun and gorgeous to look at.
Would definitely recommend this spot to first time campers as it was easy to get to and flat spots all around. It did help having a Jeep and rooftop tent, but not needed. I plan to come back. (One note, the GPS may take you to an entryway that doesnât exist. Just keep driving 1/4 mile down and youâll see the stop sign turn into the property. It has a giant entryway and metal gate)

It was lovely meeting Dana and her festive family of farm animals on the ranch! The donkeys were definitely a huge part of the experience since they are curious creatures that visit you day and night. It was lovely spending time with the new baby goats and the sheep, horses, and pigs!
Plenty of options to setup and we arrived with our rooftop tent which was perfectly accommodated.

Loved what Grace has provided out here. It was a real treat walking her property and the electrical line road that seems to go for miles. Would absolutely come again.
