What a truly great spot! This was only an hour out of LA and a great little getaway to the mountains. There was plenty of beautiful hiking and scenery, the property is quite large and easy to just carve out your own time away from other people. Because it is close to LA I'm sure it gets booked a lot as we had two other neighbors the entire time. The sites are a little close to each other for my taste, especially surprising because of the amount of land that is available up there, but we were definitely warned about it ahead of time. Daniela was a fantastic host and greeted us a few hours after we had set up. We felt safe and secure the entire time and didn't have any issues arise. The restroom was great and easy to find/use. It was windy at night considering it was early June, but we came prepared for the cold at night. No fires is a bummer, but the propane tank fire pit was a great consolation. It will be a great place to visit again!

You come for the gibbons sunrise experience and it is intense. What a wave of energy you seldom get to experience or witness. Don't expect to sleep during this hour, it will not happen. But it is an amazing thing to witness and I'm glad we went. The site was nice and tucked away directly behind the house. The bathroom is shared with the staff, so when they are using it you have to wait or go to the porta potty down the road. Bring your own firewood, there's nothing to use but a fire made it super pleasant. Had a nice time!

This was a nice empty piece of land with great view of the sunset along the mountains. It is a windy spot at sundown, but that's to be expected with the high desert. There were some nice spots to set up a camp site and you can pretty much expect to be left alone while on the site.

Had a great time out here with friends and we got up in the morning and went to the farm to play with the baby goats. Gloria was a great host and showed up shortly after we arrived and made sure we were set up. We ordered some eggs and goat meat and cooked with it in the morning. It was great! Plenty of spots to hike around and the dogs are always around checking on you. Would go back again. GPS takes you to a spot thats a little short of the gate, but make sure you have the picture of the gate on your phone and you can't miss.

This site was great and defiantly would come back again. Tried to walk in since we didn't have a 4x4 and our wagon full of gear became difficult to pull through the sand and soft ground. This left us frustrated on our way in and way out, so I would recommend taking only what you can carry or truck in. We also had a couple of dirt bike visitors rolling around the hillside that I wasn't quite expecting. This disrupted the privacy and made us a little uncomfortable since we picked this spot because it was a single site. But knowing all this, I'm sure if we come back it'll be a lot more pleasant. Just wanted to give a heads up to first timers. The night time stars were great to see and the hills near by were fun to explore!
