Robert met us at the campsite upon our arrival and gave us a tour of the area. We were fortunate in that we were the only campers for the night and had the place all to ourselves. The site is right along the river so you can hear the soothing water all night. It is well shaded under the trees but you can move into the sun as well. The fire pit area is in a designated area with moveable benches to place as you choose. Robert has firewood available for sale but we had our own. We enjoyed seeing the Texas Longhorns roam in their area. That was so cool. The whole place is amazing and we really enjoyed it. We would have gladly stayed there longer if we had more time. It's an incredible site that we would opt to stay in over a campground. The area is beautiful, along the river and has a pit toilet and shower available. Definitely a spot to enjoy. We highly recommend this camp site. Robert was a great host as well and made sure we had everything we needed.
