Peaceful Prairie is a place true to it's name. Established as a Hipcamp for the summer of 2017 eclipse gathering, this place has more to offer than a simple nights rest. Tucked in a valley beneath boulders and sandstone bluffs, you're able to explore canyons, ravines, bluffs and even prairie lands. Winds come in waves and the scenery is beyond gorgeous. Your hosts offer a shower, a large fire pit for a larger group or just a couple looking to get away for the weekend. Prepare to find the best place for sunset, and awake to beautiful crimson skies over the valley.

Pewabic Mountain was inaccessible in winter, I look forward to revisiting in summer.

Devon and George have a wonderful property tucked between gorgeous vistas and mountains. With a river, beach, plenty of wood to keep the fire pit, and wood stove within the yurt burning all night. The property is minutes away from breweries, an orchard, a farm to table restaurant, and the best donuts in Colorado. Make sure you're in town Friday morning for those donuts... The hosts were extremely accommodating, and gave us more to do in our stay than we had time for! We cannot wait to visit the Groove Yurts again!
