Overall we had a great experience. The sites were easy to locate, Heather was quick to reply, and the portable toilet was clean. It was nice that each site had a fire pit and a picnic table. The location is neat, in a field next to the river. This is a bit more like festival style camping. There is some space between camping parties but you'll still be able to see and hear other groups.

Shallow Springs Ranch RV Camping
in Shallow Springs Ranch, WashingtonGreat property and campsites!
This was my partner's and my third summer in a row coming to Shallow Springs Ranch. We've brought family and friends here as well since we enjoy the property so much! We love the location, how private the sites are, and we appreciate how clean the portable toilets are and that there is a hand wash station outside the restrooms. It's easy to purchase firewood too.

Shallow Springs Ranch RV Camping
in Shallow Springs Ranch, WashingtonGreat area close to port townsend
This was our third time staying at Shallow Springs Ranch but the first time in the RV spot. We love the property and how quiet and peaceful the area is. My parents brought their 24' trailer. They had to level their trailer but other than that didn't have any issues with the spot. I appreciated all the amenities that were provided at the site - two picnic tables, a fire pit and ring (we used propane since there's a burn ban), dog bags to clean up after your dog, and Joe and Elisa even left a hammock stand for us to use with our hammock! We are looking forward to coming back next summer!

(Dispersed site)
Nice place to stay that is open and flat. There is space between campers which is great but you still see people. I recommend this site as long as people are aware that there is little privacy, but thatās part of what makes this place unique and fun. The bathrooms were really clean and had hand sanitizer. The only downside to our stay was some other campers were running a generator for hours on end. At first it was fine but after a while it became really irritating. This wasnāt any fault of the host though.

in Cardinalās Camp, WashingtonNice location for rvs

We needed to stay a night in the area and pitched a tent. It is a great location across the street from Finnriver and the surrounding barn and field are beautiful. Chris has a neat set-up for people with RVs. There was a bit of road noise as you're not far off the main road but it isn't terrible.

Site 2 - Hidden Hollow
in Shallow Springs Ranch, WashingtonWonderful place near port townsend!
This was our second time camping here in the past two weeks. It's a great location near Port Townsend. We love how quiet and peaceful the property is. We had a great time sitting by the campfire and stargazing.
Joe and Elisa are so nice. We enjoyed their showing us around the property and sharing their vision for future campsites. We will definitely be back and bring some friends to share this experience with!

Quiet clearing minutes from Rialto
in 100 Coho Drive, WashingtonQuiet yard near rialto beach
Hailey M.has mixed feelings towards this listing.
Mark's place is really close to Rialto Beach. It was a convenient place to set up a tent after watching the sunset at Rialto. If you're looking for a private and secluded area in the woods, this won't be the site for you. The yard is open so you most likely will be visible to the neighbors and to the host's place. We didn't mind though and appreciated the firepit.
We didn't meet Mark as he wasn't around when we stayed, but he was responsive via text before we arrived. We had our own water so we didn't use the sink at the site. The sanican was clean but it would've been nice to have some hand sanitizer in or near the toilet.
Past trip
Site 1 - Huckleberry Hill
in Shallow Springs Ranch, WashingtonWe really enjoyed our stay at campsite 1. It was just my boyfriend and me with our dog. We only stayed one night as we were heading for the coast, but would have loved to spend another night or two here. We'd like to come back and spend more time on the farm and see the animals!
Joseph and Elisa were very hospitable and welcoming. They met us at the first gate when we drove in and showed us to the site. The campsite is spacious and private and has a great firepit and picnic table. The restrooms are a short walk away and were clean. The sanitizing station was great. We appreciated that firewood bundles were available for $5. I highly recommend Shallow Springs Ranch!
Past trip
in Dawn G.ās Land, OregonGreat location and hospitality!
My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay here. The location is great as it's just a few minutes from downtown Bend and not too far from Sisters. The campsite is quiet and we loved the hammocks and chairs around the fire. It was fun to see the goats, chickens, and dogs. The toilet in the teepee is unique and clean. Dawn was a great host and provided ice, some firewood and a couple of beers for us. She was available to answer any questions we had and made us feel comfortable during our stay.
Past trip
in Mel L.ās Land, OregonQuiet and beautiful place to stay!
We stayed three nights at Mel's. Mel was out of town so our host was Doug, who was friendly and showed us around. Our campsite was great (I think we had #1). There was a picnic table, table, area for our tent with a tarp canopy and plenty of trees so we were able to set up the hammock we brought with us. Each campsite is very private so you may hear others but you don't see them from your spot. You won't be able to be right next to your vehicle but you can get close to the campsite to load and unload. It was really nice there was some firewood provided. The view was beautiful, so we had wonderful mornings and evenings.
An outhouse is available for all campsites or you can walk up to the shop to use indoor plumbing (maybe a 5-10 minute walk). We didn't use the shower but there is one available for $10.
I highly recommend this area to other campers. I do recommend to pet owners to possibly bring flea collars or be proactive in treating their dogs. When we returned home I found out or dog had fleas. Please be aware this may not be from the property as we also went to the beaches nearby and other areas. We rented a dune buggy from Spinreel which is only a 12 minute drive away. If you're in southern Oregon I suggest staying at Mel's!
Past trip
in Horse Lovers Paradise, WashingtonMy boyfriend and I had a wonderful time staying here. It was a lot of fun to pet the piglets and even feed them. Michelle is very friendly and hospitable. We appreciated that each camp site comes with a fire pit, some firewood, a picnic table and an umbrella. The communal fire pit was nice. and the kitchen area was useful to wash our dishes. We highly recommend staying here and would love to return!
