BIGFOOT RANCH NO CAMPING ALOWED
in Tim N.âs Land, MinnesotaWas thrilled to find Bigfoot Ranch available for an impromptu 1 night camping trip over 4th of July weekend. Tim was so kind to haul our heavy gear in his trailer that lead us to a very secluded camping spot near the river. Firewood was also available to us at no cost and we enjoyed a great evening and afternoon as a family for rustic camping. Rum River is beautiful, clean, & very refreshing in the 99 degree temps.
Heart's Content
in Shady Rest Acres, MinnesotaAmazing camping spot at Heartâs Content despite the stormy weather. Patty & Michelle offered their garage space for shelter which was comforting. Beautiful evening after the storm, exploring the cave in the trout pond and then a tour around the pasture to feed all the animals Sun morning. Will definitely come back to explore more around the area.
Koi Kamping
in Koi Kamping!, WisconsinKoi camping was above our expectations. Yani and Jim were wonderful & accommodating hosts. We didnât pull in until very late in the evening and they had 2 cold beers waiting for us, a refreshing treat after a 6 hour drive. They have a beautiful property that has a large natural koi pond where you can feed the koi (koi food provides) and take in the scenery. Yani & Jim were very helpful with directions and ideas how to spend our time on water. Everything mentioned on Hipcamp is accurate. We will definitely be returning guests when we are back in this area again.
