Site 3 - Camp Chicory in Paradise Valley
in Camp Chicory in Paradise Valley, MontanaThis place is great! The directions were very easy to follow, and the sites well marked and easy to find, even at night. Each site has a picnic table and fire pit. There's not a ton of privacy, as all of the sites are in a grass field, but it wasn't really an issue. The view (completely surrounded by mountains!) made it more than worth it! Loved the goats and chickens roaming the camping area, too :) The porta-potty was clean, and Sheila was super accommodating and helpful. Would definitely recommend this place or stay here again if I'm back in the area!

in Desert River Camp, ArizonaDarlene and Steve were great, and met me at the site to show me around. The setting is gorgeous, with nice cleared campsites with water & fire pits. They all have access to a little creek with lots of shade. There's enough around that it doesn't feel totally desolate, but sites are far enough apart to provide total privacy. Convenient location close to Kanab.
