Slippery Rock Tiny Cabin
in Slippery Rock Trails LLC, MaineWe had a fabulous stay at Johnâs cabin. The site is private and serene; the cabin is beautifully and simply furnished. There was even a child-sized table, chairs, and couple of toys for our 2-year-old to play with. We enjoyed canoeing over to the sandy beach around the riverbend, swimming there, and cooking over the campfire at night. Amazingly enough, there were hardly any insects during our stay! Although the cabin was hot during the day, it cooled down with the breeze at night. Everything we needed (utensils, a cutting board, drinking water, a game of Yahtzee) was on hand. We enjoyed hearing about Johnâs conservation efforts on this land and savored the freshly grown and dried garlic he shared. We will surely be back.
