Lovely view, pretty dry California gold rush type land. We had one of four marked camping spots next to each other. We were not allowed to use the one shared fire pit due to there being wind, and the directions to the spot were quite confusing, but our host picked up the phone and guided us through the road as we drove to the spot, which was helpful and we made it to the campsite alright. Overall it was a nice experience but I would only do it again with a larger group, my own camping stove in case we canât make a fire, and water play things that allow us to take advantage of the river.

Lovely drive over to a lovely campsite with just enough amenities, in case they are wanted. Fire pit, lots of flat ground, safe parking area, clear signs, caring hosts that seem to really care that you to have a good time. Optional string lights are set up and they help to add friendly ambiance at night. Hosts live at a house near the camp but the camp is quite private. A short walk away are a couple of gardens and horses. Iâd stay here again.
