in Benton's on the Baileys, OhioAwesome little basecamp for baileys trail system! The campsites are insta-fabulous with string lights, adirondack chairs, fire-pits, and picnic tables.
The bathroom and shower are brand new and very nice! Only a 30 foot walk from your tent.

in Cape Cod Waterfront Glamping!, MassachusettsWow! What an experience. Although we did sleep in a tent (nice site, good visual privacy from the main house), we felt like we were on a top dollar beach rental vacation. The access to amenities was incredible.
Carole was a super host! She gave us access to a full kitchen in the guest house, as well as a bathroom and shower. These two things made our stay so comfortable. It was like camping in a friends yard.
The lake, deck, and canoe were incredibly serene (romantic?). The water was so clear you could see golf balls at the bottom of the lake, and thousands of freshwater jelly fish. They DO NOT STING, but they are beautiful.
There are many beaches nearby! No car needed here, for the adventurous. We were able to bike to three different towns and 5 different beaches. We rented a two person bike from Corner Cycle (excellent experience https://www.cornercycle.com/about/hybrid-trailer-rentals-pg60.htm )
Nearby Osterville (literally walking distance - 10 minute walk) has everything you need for groceries and coffee shops. It has a nice main street with a few boutiques.
Camp at Heritage Farms in CVNP
in Camping at Heritage Farms, OhioThis was my first experience with Hip Camp, and I'm hooked! What a welcome break from busy park campgrounds with loud people and campers with generators.
Our site was peaceful and private (site #4). The sites at this christmas tree farm are well laid out and very far apart.
We camped here to access Cuyahoga National Park and the erie canal towpath. We could access many hiking trails without using the car, and were only 1/4 mile from the train station in peninsula for the "Bike Aboard", where you pay $5 for the train to take you one way and ride back.
Our stay, and weekend was on par with the best parks and towns in the world. Do yourself a favor and book!
We will be coming back.
