Grapevine Springs Retreat
in Grapevine Springs Retreat , TexasTexas check! this has it all.
Natural running spring, a swimming hole, hill country, and rock cliffs. This is Texas at its best. This was our second time back to Wilson's lovely property and certainly not our last. We had a great two days hiking up and down the spring, enjoying the waterhole, walking around, and simply camping. The price is well worth it if you think you are getting a state park-like experience but all to yourself. Enjoy my latest round of uploaded photos for this trip.
Grapevine Springs Retreat
in Grapevine Springs Retreat , TexasYour very own private state park
Forget state parks! I will stay here every time. Wilson was an exceptional host and his property definitely exceeded expectations. Very secluded and private. The site is next to a running stream fed by a natural spring and there is a swimming hole for summer. The land is beautiful and begs to be explored. I'll definitely be back again and again. There's also a lot of intriguing history that goes along with the property.
