Stay in our Airstream on the banks of the mighty Llano River in the Texas Hill Country. Fire pits, privacy, picnic tables, and gorgeous views.
We have over 15 acres of hill country beauty to explore. Take a casual dip in the mighty Llano River, or take the plunge off of 20-foot red rock cliffs into deep cool water. Kayak, canoe, swim, visit the Eckart Bat Cave, or take a scenic drive down the gorgeous James River Road (a winding gravel road that goes over several low water crossings on the crystal clear James River). Enjoy the island in front of the property, with its beaches and multiple access points to swimming holes.
We also have two small cabins and a fully renovated vintage airstream available (see other Hipcamp listings). We also rent kayaks and canoes!

The vibe at Dos Rios Airstream
If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
This is by far the sweetest spot at Dos Rios. The fully renovated vintage Airstream is in tip top shape, and has tons of character. It’s parked in the “RV” area, but is the last along the line with the front door facing away from everyone else, with your own fire pit/outdoor living area right there (and private). You also have your own hammock, and separate little table and 2 chairs along the cliff to enjoy the view. If this is available - book it.
We had an awesome time at Dos Rios Airstream! First time sleeping in an Airstream and we are hooked! We woke up to beautiful light and supreme quiet except for the sound of birds. The kitchen worked great and the bed was comfortable.
We only wished we could have stayed longer!
It was perfect!!! Great place for a fun get away! Great for dogs and kids. Would do it again in a heart beat and probably within the next year! They have a lot of stuff already in the airstream to make you feel super comfortable!
We came here Sunday- Tuesday and had the land almost entirely to ourselves. The grounds were clean and the hosts were quick to reply to our messages. It rained almost the whole time we were there, so we spent a little more time indoors than we had expected, and didn't get to enjoy the hammocks and river as we wished. That said, the airstream we stayed in was comfortable and we enjoyed listening to the rain pour down on our aluminum dwelling!
