Rustic tent sites and log cabins on nearly 400 acres nestled in the Appalachian Mountains. The property has been in our family since the late 1800's, initially operating as an ochre mill. We are near the historic town of Jim Thorpe, Whitewater Rafting Adventures, Hickory Run State Park, Lehigh Gorge State Park, Tuscarora State Park, and more. ***PLEASE READ BELOW AND READ EACH SITE DESCRIPTION/RULES BEFORE BOOKING*** - Our tent sites are rustic with NO electric or running water. We allow responsible use of the stream for cleaning. Please bring along potable water. Cabins have electric, but no indoor plumbing. Porta-Johns are available throughout the grounds. Cabins have a rustic outdoor shower available MID May- MID October. Please inquire for camper vans and pop ups. -Listing price is based on 2 guests per night. Please ensure correct headcount when booking. - FIREWOOD: We have firewood for sale for $7 per crate. You can pick and crate your wood at the wood pile on the grounds at your convenience. Please bring cash if possible or get in touch at the end of your stay to pay via Venmo, PayPal, or Zelle. -We have a variety of wildlife in the area, including BLACK BEARS. Please follow 'Leave No Trace' protocols and be mindful of trash and food throughout your stay. Keep your coolers in your vehicles and take garbage to the dumpster frequently. We have a dumpster available to you on the grounds. -Check in is contactless. Upon booking, you will receive directions to your site. **If you would like to stay for one night during the week or one night on a weekend during November-April, please get in touch and I can adjust the booking specifications. Otherwise, weekends are typically a two night minimum mid May through October. Memorial Day Weekend and Labor Day Weekend are a three night minimum.**

Bear View is a very secluded site with ample shade. About 10 yards from the stream. It is a WALK IN site. About 30 yards from parking and 200 yards to the nearest porta-potties. The site is across the stream and through the woods from our larger group sites. Although you cannot see these sites, you may hear other campers.

Site #7 is a WALK IN site, about 75 yards from your parking spot and the porta-potty. It is situated next to the stream that runs through the grounds and offers ample shade. Suitable for sure footed guests only. The path to the site has a lot of tree roots and rocks. The site is across the stream and through the woods from our larger group sites. Although you cannot see these sites, you may hear other campers.

**6 guest minimum mid May through October.** Bullpine is, part wooded, part open grass space. It is 20 yards from the stream and vehicle accessible with its own porta-potty on site. The Beaver Dam site is a WALK IN site..about 30 yards from parking/200 yards to the nearest porta potties. Best for sure foisted guests as the path to the site has rocks and tree roots. It sits behind the pond on the grounds and has ample shade.

The Buckhorn Cabin

The Buckhorn cabin is a rustic, single room cabin built in 2009. It sits about 100 yards from our waterfall. It has electric, but no indoor plumbing. Rustic outdoor shower available mid May-mid October. - The cabin has three single beds. There is floor space for an air mattress/cot or two and tent space is available outside for additional guests who wish to tent camp (best for 2-3 small/medium tents.) Amenities include a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, small electric fireplace, additional space heater, and A/C. -Porta-potties available outside. - Rustic outdoor shower is available May-October. Hot water heater will give you a few minutes of hot water per shower. -You’ll need to bring along pillows, bedding (3 single beds) , potable water, dish-ware, utensils, garbage bags, paper towels, soap, towels, everything you need for cooking, etc. There is a fire pit and picnic table outside and a cast iron crock that you can use to grill with wood or charcoal. -The cabin is vehicle accessible with a 2WD vehicle unless we have snow. You will be driving primarily on gravel roads once on our grounds. -The cabin is located in the woods and is rustic. Please keep food and pet food sealed in containers to discourage bugs, mice, and other wild life. Please reach out with any questions!

The Waterfall Cabin

The Waterfall cabin is a rustic, single room cabin built in 1938. It has electric, but no indoor plumbing. The stream and waterfall are right outside your door. It is only accessible via foot bridge, recommended for sure footed guests only. You will park and cross the bridge to get to the cabin. It’s about a 30 yard walk from parking. The porta-potty is located on the side of the same side of bridge that you will park by. -The cabin has a bunk bed with full bottom/single top. Tent space is available outside for additional guests who wish to tent camp. Amenities include a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker, and small electric fireplace. -Porta-potty available outside across the bridge. - Shower available mid May-mid October only. -There is a small electric fireplace and additional space heater. No A/C. The cabin stays relatively cool in the summer, especially at night. -You will need to bring along pillows, bedding (bunk bed with full bottom/single top), potable water, dish-ware, utensils, everything you need for cooking, garbage bags, paper towels, etc. There is a fire pit and picnic table outside with grates to cook over the fire. - The cabin is located in the woods and is rustic. My group and I are usually booking site 3 but site 4 was just as good, not as close to a stream where you can hear the running water but site 4s stream is about a 2-5 minutes walk. The site was clean per usual and pretty private. We’ll be coming back again!

Little rainy little pines weekend

Such peaceful land. A private site, which is always much appreciated. Little pines is located up a road following a wood line, and is tucked into a large field with lots of growth that makes for a site that feels like it’s in its own little world. The farther back you place your tent, the closer you get to the little road though. And such beautiful views all throughout the field. It was a rainy weekend that was well very enjoyed at this spot. A bit muddy, as to be expected! But the elements never bother me. I have a tall tent and we set up a tarp covering with the help of the trees. 🌲 Porta’s were close by the site, and there was ample wood available as listed. Bring cash for wood :)

An amazing, convenient escape

The Buckhorn Cabin

This cabin had the perfect level of amenities for a quiet weekend away, set on a beautiful piece of land. You can hear the waterfall as you sit by the fire and the area behind the cabin was perfect for setting up a hammock. The furnace kept the cabin comfortable, the outdoor shower was convenient. Toilets were clean. I'll definitely be booking again next year.

I've camped here three times now. I would say it's the best campground in the state. I don't enjoy camping somewhere you can see your neighbors. Casey is quick to respond and answer any questions.

The group across the stream were very loud, they hiked around our site with their dogs without any leash on. They were very loud and distributive. We also saw them taking firelogs without paying. The camp site itself is really nice and peaceful! Sharing the grounds with these people were not!

I had such a beautiful, restorative weekend at Roundstone! We stayed at site #7 and it was so magical. There were so many beautiful trees, mushrooms & wildlife. It was also great that firewood was offered onsite and the porta-pottys were pretty clean. We will definitely be back!

We are leaving this place heartbroken that it needs to end. Casey’s land is pure magic … We finally found what we’ve been looking for so many years! Been staying at #1 this year. However, we prefer #3 because it’s much deeper into the woods and creek is more manageable for swimming with kids. But both sites are spotless, beautiful and quite! Sharing this with everyone!
