Description
You know when someone tells you to “take a hike?" They definitely had Saddle Creek Campground in mind as your destination. With seven walk-in tent-only sites, your only neighbors are wagon wheels from the campground’s former life as an orchard. Located on the rim of Hells Canyon along the Hat Point Road visitors can enjoy a remote campout or just picnic and take in the scenery that looks all the way to Hells Canyon at the Seven Devil Mountains in Idaho. The area was heavily burned with wildfires in the past so shade and mature trees are scarce near the campground but hiking is abundant in this unique abandoned orchard camp.
