Description
The teddy bears may have their picnic and now you can have yours streamside in a picturesque ponderosa forest. Elk Creek campground offers group picnic sites and tent-only campsites along Elk Creek. It’s used as an unofficial off-highway vehicle campground for the fast and furious riders of the Blue Mountain OHV Trails. Nearby you can find plenty of hiking and King’s Mountain and Elk Mountain trailheads are a stone’s throw from the campground. The Wilson River is a quick little walk providing a quick retreat from close by Portland. That’s our idea of a beary good time.
