This is an awesome place to pitch your tent, especially if you enjoy local wine. It's dispersed camping, so you can pitch your tent anywhere. No picnic tables or fire rings at the sites, but the winery has a huge communal fire pit and lots of tables.

You can camp here anytime, but I would recommend visiting when the winery is open - from Thursday to Sunday. Definitely bring your dog if you have one, and head up to Minnewaska State Park for a hike and a swim.

We had a wonderful night at Robibero's Retreat! The weather and scenery were absolutely perfect, and the wine was delicious. Be sure to get there during business hours to enjoy the tasting, people watching, and live music. We had a blast hanging out in the sun and taking it all in. And our pup loved being able to tag along everywhere we went!

When everyone cleared out, we built a small fire and enjoyed a peaceful night under the stars. All in all, a great experience! Highly recommend.

Harry was an absolutely life saver, after a failed attempt at finding a hotel we opted to camp and Harry was able to accommodate us on a really short notice :) We came just in time for a bit of wine tasting before setting up. This place is gorgeous, with a huge fire pit picnic tables and restrooms.

We had such a great time camping here! We had a wine tasting and then enjoyed the afternoon and had a picnic as a band played (it was their winestock festival). We set up our tent in the evening and set small campfire. It was a great place to camp. We so look forward to going back!

Had a fabulous time at Robibero's. The vineyard is beautiful. The winery was open while we were there so we got to enjoy a bottle of yummy wine on the porch as the evening wound down. Built a fire in their giant fire pit. The field where we put our tent was big but felt secluded. Also we hiked during the day at minnewaska state park, which was gorgeous and only a short drive from the vineyard. Oh and the town of New Paltz was super cute and a short drive as well. Cute shops and restaurants. We'll definitely be back!

This was such an awesome weekend getaway spot! We arrived after going on a hike in the nearby Minnewaska State Park at about 5pm.

We met Harry, who was helpful and showed us around the property. Then we went in the winery for a wine tasting, which was so fun and delicious! Afterwards we set up our tents near a picnic bench and with a view of the beautiful vineyard and mountains just in time before the sun went down. Live music was being played on the porch of the winery and people were out enjoying themselves in the yard until 7, which is when they close on saturdays. We were separated from other campers by greenery and our spot felt very private. Outdoor bathrooms were clean and just fine.

This was so fun and a unique way to camp that I definitely recommend and will hopefully do again in this same spot!

Spent a night here with some friends and had a great time. We were allowed to make our own fire pit as long as we put back the rocks where we found them. Harry let us borrow a few chairs as well.

Harry was really easy going and we had a great time. You can also have your small campfire separate from the main common pit.

The camping space is a serene open meadow. The people in the winery area are very friendly. And the wine is nice too! There were a lot of frog noises I believe it was, so you may want to remember your earplugs, or maybe not put your tent as close to the reedy area as I did.

Hipcamper Britni

Harry is a great host. The camping spot is conveniently located near New Paltz and it's also to be so close to a lively winery. I would stay again!

Hipcamper Kelsey

Very nice place. Enjoyed our time spent there. We especially liked that it was on a winery so we could hike then stop for a well deserved glass of wine!

Hipcamper Micah

The Robibero Winery is gorgeous and it makes a great camping spot. Highly recommend

Super convenient to be able to drive your car up and park right next to your campsite (especially when the weather's bad, as it was for us one night!). Lots of space, great to have access to 'real' bathrooms, and convenient to other places in the Hudson Valley. We were especially excited they came around as we were packing up in the morning and asked if we had any trash, so we didn't have to make space for it ourselves in the car...!

Hipcamper Jesse

I had a great time camping under the stars in a nice large open field. Additionally, loved the wine tour!

Hipcamper Victor

Our stay at Robibero's was great. We arrived just in time to taste the wine. The field where you can pitch your tent is quite large so each camper has his own privacy. It's clean and quiet. We were rock climbing near by and it was a perfect base for us!

Hipcamper Kate

A lovely place for a quiet camping weekend. Harry is great - friendly and on hand for advice. Having the vineyard nearby is a great bonus!

Hipcamper Cris

Great camping spot with plenty of room in the large open field. We were able to make our own fire and also had the winery nearby to hang out at and also buy wine/alcohol from.

Hipcamper Travis

Beautiful site. Super relaxing. Amazing wine. Extremely nice people. Would recommend to everyone.

Hipcamper Katie

Perfect night spent here!! Everything went so well and we really appreciated the flexibility on arrival time (we got in a bit later than we had anticipated). We would definitely stay here again!

Hipcamper Chrissy

Beautiful spot for camping! We had a great time.

Hipcamper Adrian

Nice place to camp. Close to multiple parks and great climbing.

Hipcamper Nora

This was an awesome place to spend the night! It's walking distance from a lively and fun winery and the facilities are well kept and clean. I'd definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone visiting the Gunks or New Paltz.

Hipcamper Joshua

Super friendly and accessible! The camping spots were far enough away that the noise from the winery detract, but close enough to walk to and from without it being an ordeal.

Highly recommended!

Hipcamper Chris

Its fine, it's just a field not an actual camp ground. There are bathrooms, no firewood, and plenty of accessible parking. Good if you don't want an actual "woods" experience.

Hipcamper Troy

Make sure you know what you are getting into. While the land is nice, it's very remote. So, if you are looking for some pretty good wine and a crowd, camp here. If not, then don't camp here. Harry was very nice though.

Hipcamper Alex

We loved staying at Robibero! We arrived just after 5pm, in time for a wine tasting and to buy a few bottles to enjoy by the fire. The toilets available to campers were great, the fire pit is awesome, and the camping field was very quiet. The nearby town of New Paltz was great for brunch the next day and we loved hiking at nearby Mohonk Preserve.

Hipcamper Michele

Awesome place- laid back and no hassles

Hipcamper karina

Harry is super friendly, the wines are excellent, the place is kid and dog friendly. We will be back!
