On a mini road trip between Memphis and Jackson, pop a squat at Hugh White Campground, right along the wondrous Grenada Lake. Locals insist this is the most beautiful lake in the world, and it is pretty ding dong pretty. On it, you can boat, fish, jet ski, and all that fun stuff, and when you hit land again, you won’t want to waste a moment before diving into a game of disc golf or firing up the grill for a grand ol’ picnic. And when you’ve done so much that you can’t go on, rest your head at one of the developed campsites, a primitive one, or in a cabin, of which there are a variety of amenities to suit you. Once you have your fill, you can carry on with that li’l drive from which you took this glorious detour!
