Kalivan Cove Glamping
in Rural Camping Glamping on 20 Acres, WashingtonPerfect weekend getaway from seattl
This glamping site was perfect from city as a weekend getaway. Only 30 min drive from Seattle; yet close to North Bend downtown to get some grocery and shopping done. The site is located in the residential area, not somewhere in the wilderness, so you will feel really safe. During my visit, the outside light bulbs were out, but fire pit gave us enough light and warmth. They offer firewoods, electricity (huge plus!) and other maintenance stuff for you to use (i.e. bug spray, mini vacuum, etc.). There is also water hose but it is not portable, so make sure to bring extra water bottles if needed. In late August, it got a bit chilly at night but if you bring extra fleece blanket for warmth, it should be enough. You can close the zippers in yurt to keep you warm throughout the night.
The huge plus for me was that the portable toilet was SO CLEAN and there was a guy who came out on Sunday to clean it. I never felt comfortable using a portable toilet like this one before.
The host is very communicative and flexible. Thanks for your hospitality!
Glamping in Bow
in Brenda W.âs Land, WashingtonPerfect weekend getaway with ac
Seattle was having âexcessive heat warningâ and this was the perfect place for us to get away from it with AC! She turned the AC on before we got there. Only thing i would say is that the AC air takes a while to flow to bedroom, but it wasnt over 100 degrees like anywhere else. Brenda added a lot of personal touch there - she made sure we feel like we are at home. Very communicative and responsive. You can venmo her $5 for firewood in case you forgot to bring yours. She lets you explore her own little farm and fruits. When itâs high tide, you can see the beach area with a beautiful sunset from the RV site too. At night, you can do star gazing with limited light pollution. My partner and I found not only dippers but also our constellations! We are definitely coming back to this place later this year. Thanks for the hospitality!
