in OnTop.camp - NW NC Ashe Co, North CarolinaA sunrise to remember
My wife, pup and I had a wonderful experience at Jonâs campgrounds in NW, NC. The views alone are enough for you to stop what youâre doing right now and book this gem. We had ample amount of space between all of the different campsites. We knew Jon was only a call or text away if we needed anything. He was very accommodating with firewood, and fresh eggs or grass-fed meat if we needed it. We witnessed one of the most incredible sunrises of our lifetime on this property. Do yourself and favor and get out to this campground. One final note, if your lucky enough to meet Jonâs dog Max, he is the sweetest boy, who quickly became besties with our puppy Basil.

in Lower Sherwood Farm, VirginiaRelaxing retreat at the llama farm
We had an amazing stay at Lower Sherwood Farm. Our host Paige was extremely responsive and very helpful to guide us on everything from arrival to departure and even recommending some great attractions/hikes in the area. We stayed at Campsite #1 and it was exactly what we were hoping for. We had enough privacy and a great relaxing space right by the pond. The trails throughout the property are very well kept in the event you want to stay on-site and do some local hiking. Creighton was also very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! Oh and I can't forgot about the llamas, our favorite llama was Teriyaki :), our favorite horse was Cocoa.
