Past trip
in Enney's Ranch, CaliforniaI had such a lovely stay here! Kenneth was very kind and easy to talk to, providing heat for the cold night and I appreciated the comfortable bed and warm bedding. The sunset was profound, and the wind in the barley fields sounded sparkling, just beautiful. Hope to be back soon!
Past trip
Juniper Frontcountry Cabin
in The Arizona Nordic Village, ArizonaI was traveling solo cross country and would recommend this place as safe. I arrived at night and it seemed I was the only person there and it was very dark. A little nervous at first, but comforted to learn there were other people staying that night. As for covid safety, they do it right. I felt completely safe in the very clean and aired out cabin and the staff wore masks and stood 6 ft away. Had a little trouble getting the generator to work for lights, so would be helpful if the instructions for that were on the actual generator. Also couldnât find instructions for the wood burning stove in the book, but the cabin was warm enough. And Evan was very responsive to questions, so in all I would definitely recommend this cabin. Hope to come back!
Past trip
in I 40 Hideaway, TennesseePerfect for a stop off I-40. Easy to find and I felt very safe staying there traveling solo. Heat works well and the cabin itself is pretty. Only suggestion would be to have a lamp in there, the overhead light is very bright. Otherwise, the owner was very attentive to my worries around covid, and allowed for contactless check in. The space was clean and distances from other units. Easy to ventilate with 4 windows. Would stay there again!
Past trip
in Petit Jean Farm Orchard, ArkansasI was traveling cross country solo and this was the safest I felt of anywhere I camped. Gorgeous night sky and I would absolutely come back here.
There is a magic to this land, I awoke feeling uplifted in an ineffable way. đâ¨
Past trip
in Gorgeous Barn Property, OklahomaLoved the horses and the little black cat! Beautiful property with WiFi, kitchen, bathroom. I was the only person there but felt safe on the serene property. It got very windy at night, so be sure to check that before you go. I was okay having set up my tent before the winds started. Perfect stopover on a cross country trip!
