Footehills Farm
in Footehills Farm, WashingtonWonderful tiny home away from home!
I stayed solo for 2 nights at this cozy little house on Footehills Farm. The house exceeded my expectations as it was clean, comfy and well stocked. I was greeted by friendly dogs excited for my visit and then greeted warmly by Thom and Tori who made sure I had everything I needed and knew how to use their state of the art compost toilet and water pump. The location was amazing, in the rural landscape of Colbert, an oasis of country living just north of Spokane. The farm fresh eggs I had for breakfast were delicious and the chicken coup next to the house made no noise at all when I was there. I purchased some of their farm raised herbs before heading off and will tell friends of this wonderful lodging option and hope to return someday. The only disappointment was the fire pit I was hoping to sit next to, It was windy when I was there so I fully understand not being allowed to lite it, and with the looming dry fire season I would not count on having this option and would check with Thom first.
