Welcome to Marigold Manse!
in Welcome to Marigold Manse!, VirginiaThe stars are awesome!
I’ll go in order. The farm animals are wonderful, especially the cats. I sat my four year old son down on the ground to put on his shoes, next thing I knew there were seven cats rubbing all over him. He was loving it. The rooster wasn’t an issue for me. My wife planned on sleeping in the car with our seven month old, while I slept in the tent with our four year old. My wife ended up not being comfortable in the car and they let her sleep in their horse tac room. She was much more comfortable in there. My wife also ended up draining our car battery during her night in the car. They were so kind to give us a jump.. THE STARS WERE AWESOME. I can’t say enough about their hospitality. Thanks for having us. Sorry for being a pain in the butt.
Jim Bridger historic cabin 3

Very nice and private rustic cabin. Four wheel drive is recommended. Lots of stars and quiet. The creek next to the cabin was very relaxing. Jim and his family greeted us upon arrival. They seemed nice. Couldn’t have a fire during our stay, but not a big deal. Would’ve been nice to have a fire on our first bight there though. This was my wife’s favorite place that we stayed, probably mine too.
