Sky High Ridge RV Campground
in Sky High Ridge RV Campground, North CarolinaA hidden gem in the nc mountains
Fantastic location, with a great full-service host. He helped us navigate tot our site and made sure everything was OK. The full hookups were a nice bonus. Plenty of things to do in the area. If the night sky is clear, the stargazing is absolutely amazing. We'll be back in the Spring!

in Black Bear Pad, North CarolinaTugaloo State Park Campground
in Tugaloo State Park, GeorgiaReserve a premium waterfront site if possible.
Vogel State Park Campground
in Vogel State Park, GeorgiaAlways too crowded in peak season. Stopped going here a while ago.
Tallulah Gorge State Park Campground
in Tallulah Gorge State Park, GeorgiaRV sites aren’t that good, very few have any privacy and the ones that do are near the main entrance of the park, so they bring traffic noise.
Cloudland Canyon State Park Campground
in Cloudland Canyon State Park, GeorgiaSome of the hiking here is not for the timid and overtly rotund individuals amongst us. Walk-in campsites are good if you like primitive. Get there right at check in time to have a good selection of sites to choose from.
Black Rock Mountain State Park Campground
in Black Rock Mountain State Park, GeorgiaDon’t try to bring a travel trailer or RV longer than 20 feet, or you will have a very difficult time getting 1. To the campground itself and 2. Navigating it into a campsite in the 2nd loop which is on narrow grade.
