Rustic Camping and Boondocking
in Moon Grove, OklahomaAmazing & unique stay!
Really beautiful land, close enough to places for supplies and far enough away to see the stars. Lots of places to pitch a tent and land to walk/hike. A unique place to camp with what the owners are building out on the land. Amazing bathroom for campers. Lovely host, great communication. Super safe.

in Sleep Under the Pecan Trees, TexasLovely land, host, and animals!
The land was absolutely beautiful and the animals on it friendly. The horses are sweet and will come to your campsite to say hello. No riding (or feeding without Rick in his Jeep), which are the kind of rules I really respect. It was serene to just be able to see and interact with the horses in their environment. Great opportunity for photography as well!
The campsites are well spaced (more distance than your average state or national park). There are wooden picnic tables and fire pits too!
Rick was a wonderful host. Available, helpful, friendly (but lets you alone if you prefer privacy), and a fellow animal-lover. Great place to go with your dogs without fuss. The horses don't seem to pay them any mind either.
Only an hour away from downtown Dallas, Rick offers a peaceful getaway for those who like to connect with nature. I am thankful Rick is sharing his land.
