in Buffalo Jump RV Site, WyomingGerald was a great host! I really enjoyed chatting with him. He was welcoming and respectful of our space. The spot is wonderful and full of accommodations. We had a 5 point and an 8 point Buck right out the front door feasting on apples from the apple tree!(we followed suit) Little to no light pollution and plenty of stars. Cody is a really cool place with a lot of history. Would certainly recommend this place if your passing through one direction or another.

We stopped here in a cargo conversion that we travel in part time and live in full time for a few days leaving Glacier NP in route to Yellowstone to catch up on some laundry and give my truck an oil change (our solar canât keep up with the laundry of 2 teenage girls and our trip had taken us about 8500 miles at this point.) I chose this location for the hook ups; the distance to our next checkpoint, and the proximity to the highway. Upon booking I was excited to see the offers for access to the greenhouse (which I had selected but did not take advantage of) along with the special accommodations of a âfun zoneâ for the kids with zip line and such. We were also conveniently here for the second Saturday of the month so we were excited to take advantage of the âoutdoor movie nightâ as well. However, when we arrived (after a slight bit of confusion as there are two Violet roads.) our host was nowhere to be found. We unhooked and remained on site wondering if anyone would be come to greet us but it never happened. Upon leaving for a supply run the second day; some individual waved as we were heading out but thatâs the extent of our contact with anyone that wasnât a camper. Needless to say, none of the additional accommodations or activities ever took place. When others arrived in RVs and Airstreams we watched as they were all greeted and directed to their sites. We felt very unwelcome, neglected and judged. Moreover, as my wife was filling up water from the hose into a 6gallon water jug for laundry; she returned to find the house had been removed as of to implicate we were only welcome to one tank fill or something for $55 dollars/night. If youâre RV person-Iâm sure youâd find this place to be what youâre looking for. Even maybe just for a quick over nighter or basecamp. Beyond that, I canât really say Iâd recommend this Hipcamp for anything else. đ¤ˇââď¸

Spot was gorgeous and secluded. Filled with wildlife of all sorts. Had bears next to our camp in the night! Nice basecamp for Glacier NP Excursions. Host greeted us and directed us to accommodations. Close enough to a small town for supply runs but in the valley/res enough to feel distant. Would certainly stay again.

So, like some others, I was a little uprooted when I discovered the pricing was increased per individual. I was also a bit taken back about the fee for additional vehicles. That being said, when contacting Sequoia about these (prior to booking) his response was immediate. After some discussion he had offered up a few discount options of which I gladly jumped on. Once we arrived and met Sequoia; he was incredibly accommodating, and shared with us his future vision for the camping area which caused and instant comprehension of why prices were what they were, why the layout is what it is, and what aspirations are in store for the future of the site. I would recommend awd but itâs only for one little hill on the way in. Past that the place is an easy drive and Sequoia had a well mannered individual meet us in town and direct us straight to our reservation spot. The site itself is gorgeous. An orchard of fruit trees surrounded by giant redwoods creates the perfect atmosphere for relaxing and enjoying the outdoors. Sequoia was full of compelling stories of his past and we sincerely feel as though we made a new friend here. Will absolutely be seeking this spot out upon returning to the west coast. I would certainly say if youâre out to explore; make the jump to Gualala. Point Arena doesnât have the friendliest of inhabitants to visitors.

in Sequoia Mountain Farms, CaliforniaI booked this location and was immediately greeted with a welcome message from the host. I ran into vehicle trouble along the way and just can not express how helpful; communicative, understanding and accommodating both Andrew and Mark were through the entire ordeal. Mark went above and beyond in every aspect to make us feel comfortable and help us with the engine trouble. The property itself is spectacular. I would not recommend taking Millwood if you are in a larger RV or motor home as it can be very stressful. 180 to the 245 is your best option. The lodge was exceptional. Clean and well taken care of. Location is perfect for expeditions to the National Parks and Mark has a plethora of information available for anything you could possibly want to experience in the area. Having stayed at several surrounding hip camps; If you are looking for a camp in the area, this is the place.

Poppy Lane of Glamping Temecula RV
in Poppy Lane, CaliforniaThis place was outstanding. Mountain Views in all directions. My host was incredibly responsive; even after booking at such a late hour. Although he wasnât present due to work, I never had to wait more than a few moments for a response with anything I needed. As iterated, it is low dug well water. So, bring a filter for hook ups and bring your own water for drinking, teeth brushing etc. would definitely recommend and hope to return sometime and chat with the host. Seemed like a rad fella.

in Joel W.âs Land, CaliforniaNice location with gorgeous views of homes nestled in the hillside. A place you feel safe. The hot air balloons are a pretty fun way to start your day. Hosts were kind when present and were very accepting of our lifestyle. (Were kind of a traveling homestead;chickens and all) The goats are so much fun to just sit around and watch and the sounds at night are spectacular. Full hook ups also made everything wildly convenient and the price was cheap considering. Would certainly stay again.
