We stayed here for one night on our way to the coast. Talk about a treat after years of staying at Whiskeytown and other crowded and noisy nearby campgrounds! This spot is secluded, rustic, and private which is exactly what these backcountry campers from Nevada were looking for. The tent and cots offer a comfy night's rest and the creek and falls were absolutely gorgeous! Definitely watch out for the poison oak and mosquitoes and come expecting the road to be bumpy, uneven, and steep. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone looking to escape from the hustle and bustle of your average overcrowded campground.
