Anyone who’s stayed at Balsam Ridge Retreat knows what a magical place it is - all the extras Linda and Chris have done to make glamping as comfortable as possible. This visit was no exception. The weather outside wasn’t terrific, but inside the Stuga(we switched from Danny’s Tent due to a cancellation), it was oh so cozy. Thanks for another wonderful visit to the North Shore.

As usual, Linda and Chris go above and beyond to welcome their guests and ensure they are safe and comfortable. Balsam Ridge is a magical place and even more so in the winter. The Minicoop is super cozy and secluded in the pines. Thanks for another wonderful retreat!

Wonderful little oasis in the woods of Baraga, MI. Dana’s parents were very nice and responsive. They even invited us to stay the rest of the week. They allowed us to sleep inside the Gauzana. Good thing as it poured the 1st day/night and still drizzled all the next day. It was warm and cozy inside even if we slept on the floor.

Fantastic hidden treasure in the city of Duluth! Chris and Linda are absolute gems of hosts - super friendly without being overbearing. Lots of small touches make their retreat very special. Gotta try the Big Swing while there. Recommend to anyone who wants a softer camping experience.
