I camped at Island Getaway with my son and dog. La Mar was as good as a hip camp host can get. He took his time to explain everything I needed to know and was available in case of emergencies. Camp site was clean and spacious. A perfect place to relax and get away from it all. My son especially loved the canoeing experience and my dog loved being able to have more freedom off lead .

I canât say enough about Rodney and Cross Creek Farm. I took my 10 year old son and our dog on a road trip and we stayed at Cross Creek. Since my son is on the spectrum and non verbal i figured a nice quiet get away would be perfect for us. The owner Rodney was warm and welcoming and even gave us a tour of the farm. My son got a chance to feed the animals and learned how to milk a goat. Our camping area was clean and safe. We felt comfortable. I would definitely recommend Cross Creek farm. We had an amazing time and my son canât stop smiling anytime we talk about our trip. Thank you!
