in Kevin L.’s Land, IllinoisThe scenery is great, facilities are clean. Highly recommend the walk to the top of the hill for an enhanced view. Kids loved the beach area and toys that were there. We loved the chairs and shade of the gazebo. The stars at night were incredible too. Friendly people, nice place. We were the only campers, as it was during the week. RV hookup at site 1 to 30amp was nice since it was in the 90s. Really close to Apple river canyon state park for a little extra nature excursion.

in Meredith G.’s Land, IllinoisUnique place. Staying in the area with the horses was a first and really fun. Loved the spot for the kids, especially with the train tracks and creek to play in. Since it’s a horse ranch, the fields had plenty of paths and clearings to explore with our kids without any issue.
