Sadly did not get to meet Herb as we got in late and left quite early. We loved the setup for the campsite and the solar powered lanterns that lined the creek along the path. Woke up to a stunning clear water creek with fish rising to the morning hatch. surrounded by pasture with whitetail deer running by.

Not too far from the main highway so at night you will hear the babbling of the people river alongside red water creek as well. Dark enough to enjoy the milky way and feel a sense of calm. This was a plus for us as we wanted some nearby fishing in the morning and get back on the road with little delay.

So greatful to Herb and company for sharing this beautiful space with us. Highly recommend!

Uncle B's was quiet, safe and very hospitable. We really appreciated a clean shower after many days on the road, and Brian is working on adding more amenities to his hipcamp. He was an amiable host who provided a tour of his hobby farm, including showing the animals on the property -- Cornelious was a favorite! Brian was very generous in sharing a some lovely vegetables from the garden, generous with his time, and responsive even with booking on short notice. We would happily stay again!

Great spot with a lovely view. Made camp just in time for an iconic montana sunset. Went here to get away from the raging fires. Highly recommend!
