Relaxing Natural Hot Springs

Just a short drive from downtown Paso Robles, it's tucked up against a beautiful pond were you can enjoy fishing and bird watching. Some people were even driving their remote control boats. I had my choice from a few sites and picked site #1 which was closest to the pond for an optimal view from my bed in the back of my van. I went in mid October and the property was pretty underwhelming and rundown. Various junk was strewn about the property making for a fairly sub par experience. Once the site gets cleaned up it would make for a much nicer place to camp. I was there on a cold night and didn't think the temperature of the hot springs was hot enough to stay in for long. This mixed with the sometimes strong smell of sulfur was pretty disappointing. The place has a lot of potential and could be a lot nicer soon with a little love!
