Site 2 - Bear Mountain Retreat - Tent Sites
in Bear's Backcountry Retreat, IdahoNice and quiet but not picturesque
Nice and quiet. Fairly close to Yellowstone.
There's no posted address or numbers to mark the tent sites so it was a little confusing at first. Also when you arrive, there's a posted sign that says there is audio and video surveillance on the property and i don't like the idea of being recorded at a campsite. If all you're looking for is a flat spot to set a tent its great but the scenery includes a stack of materials and a log splitter. I didn't personally mind that aspect but the pictures on hipcamp don't show any of that.
