Tent Camp among Anasazi Ruins
in Anasazi Sites @ Ancient Echoes, ColoradoThe campgrounds are beautiful. Loved the grass lawns on the property, fun to lay and run around on. The breakfast was wonderful! Our one complaint was the shower: it had lots of odd bugs in it. Ended up driving to a nearby recreation center for a shower instead.
Past trip
Site 6 - Water Canyon Cliffside Campsite
in Water Canyon Cliffside, UtahThis is an absolutely stunning campground. We choose site 6, and felt like we had so much space to ourselves! We enjoyed views from the cliff and even of the beautiful cathedral red rocks! There was a compost toilet right across from our site. Brad had wood available for $10 and he even accepts Venmo! Although, you wonât get much reception to send it. This was the perfect stop our road trip. We were able to visit Zion, just a hours drive away! Donât forget to pack in your own water!! One side note, while the campsite is a mile or so out of town, the town (Hildale, UT) itself left us feeling rather uneasy. The houses were run down which made us curious about the community that lived there. Please do your own research about this town to decide wether you would be comfortable with staying here.
Past trip
in Paradise Shores Camp, CaliforniaThis is was a lovely campground! We only stayed a night but they had some amazing amenities available. One thing that caught our attention were the cute and clean bathrooms. They kept them well stocked with bathroom essentials and the walls were decorated with positive quotes/art! Very cute and comforting describe the overall feel of this campgroundâthe community fire and comfy couches adds to this! The view is beautiful and they are only 10 minutes from Travertine Hot Spring. Our only critique is about the swarms of mosquitos. Around sunset, once the wind had died down, we were stuck in our tent because there were hundreds of mosquitoes flying like nats around our campsite. Although, we never got any bites..
Mackenzie hasn't gone on any trips yet.
