Rustic A Frame by the water
in Magpie and Jaebird's Little A-frame, MassachusettsWhen we pulled up to our parking spot by the main house, we were immediately greeted by Jae, who called my wife and I by name before introduction; this says a lot about the personal and warm touch Jae puts into the experience. Jae led us through the woods and over a little bridge to the A-Frame that looked like a real life fairytale embodiment. Apart from phenomenal cosmetics, the place has everything you need from cookware, an āouthouseā, plenty of blankets, and a couple options for places to start up a nice fire. Jae even provided a goodie basket of fresh eggs, KitKats (We used them for sāmores), and butter (butter was requested). We couldnāt have asked for a more enjoyable experience and hospitable host!
Rio Grande Gorge/Ute Mountain Run Mile 6 Camp
in Gleaming Airstream Overlooking The Rio Grande Gorge, ColoradoItās hard to beat the unique beauty of the Gorge. The airstream was simple, fit a sleeping pad, and served its purpose. But you donāt stay for the luxurious digs, you stay here to enjoy one of the most awesome landscapes you could ever wake up next to. Only two pointers...watch for cactus, and be careful on the climb down to the river; it can get a little intense!
in Gifford Pinchot National Forest, Washington
in Santa Fe National Forest, New Mexico
Beautiful in late September-early October. The leaves change to a vivid yellow on all the Aspens and it is sure to impress the eyes!
