The Lamp Camp - OCEANSIDE RV PARK
in The Lamp Camp, WashingtonThe Lamp Camp was a wonderful last stop on our camping trip up the Oregon Coast--especially because it had (very nice) hot showers! We were definitely in closer quarters with other campers (think RV parking), but it was a nice change after a few days off the grid. We loved the short walk to the mostly empty beach and exploring the small surrounding towns.

Such a cool spot! My partner and I stayed here while camping along the Oregon Coast for my birthday. It's a few miles in from Newport, no cell service, and a totally different feel from a lot of the beach towns. We loved it! Willow was super great and interesting and very accommodating, and we loved all of her dogs that roamed the property! We would love to return sometime!
Past trip
in Historic Sturtevant Camp, CaliforniaSuch a cool spot! 6 of my friends hiked and stayed here with me for one night for my birthday. We live in LA and loved feeling so far from the city, although it was only a 30 minute drive from downtown to the start of the hike. We got there around 9am on a Saturday and it was difficult to find parking. The hike was a bit more challenging than we expected, but totally worth it. The camp was really cool and the hosts were so nice and accommodating. Most of the sports equipment was broken/flat, so we mainly just hung out and played board games and made a fire. There is a fully working kitchen (all tools, oils, spices, pans, like 10 different cast irons in all sizes), although we cooked most of our meals over the fire. All in all it was a really fun and different getaway and we all loved it!
Kenzie hasn't gone on any trips yet.
