Forest hideaway near Missoula
in Forest hideaway near Missoula, MontanaClean, quiet and restful
The Forest Hideaway is clean and quiet and truly a hideaway in a forest. Having said that, it is not far off the highway and easy to get to- even in a 22â RV. We met some friendly dogs there and had a very restful evening after a hard days travel.
Stone Lodge Pastures
in Stone Lodge Pastures, MontanaStaying with horses
Stone Lodge Pastures is right at the interstate off-ramp but still quiet and private. The horses greeted us and then let us be. The grounds are a bit of a challenge to find a level space but we managed after a couple of tries. Although the grounds are not green and verdant like you might expect in a pasture it worked well for us for a place to park, eat and sleep.
