Indie Glamping Cabin
in Tamarack Lodge & Indie Glamping, ConnecticutCute group of cabins by the lake
My son and I had a fantastic time here.
Very cute group of cabins with a nearby private beach on the lake. The walk down to the bach is only about 3 minutes if you are able bodied. Probably not good for someone who doesn't walk well, although you might be able to get a ride each way on the mega golf cart. There is a shared fridge for the cabins and private bathroom / shower in each one. Each cabin has it's own patio. There is a nice big shared grill near the big community fire pit that is surrounded by nice chairs.
They have canoes and kayaks you can rent and there is another bigger public beach you can walk to or swim to if you're a strong swimmer.
Amston Lake Gateway
in Amston Lake Gateway, ConnecticutVery pretty spot. lots of nature.
We really liked the location. It was our own private camp site. There was lots of nature around. Deers, raccoons, rabbits, birds, etc. And the lake is very nice (Amston lake) Google maps took us to the wrong location but we were only about 100 feet away from the right location.
