Site 5
in Dos Rios - Hill Country Adventure, TexasBeautiful view from campsite 1. The hammock was amazing, the site also had a fire pit and chairs. Site 1 is located at the end of a series of RV hook ups and closeer to the water. Little walk or drive to the bathroom. WiFi in the park was nice since reception was not good out there. We were going to stay at campsite 5, glad we switched last mintute since site 5 didnât have a view or a hammock that I saw. Site 5 was by the restrooms definitely not as private. I would say if you go shoot for site 4 private no real view though or site 1 amazing view at the end. If you park your car right at site 1 you get privacy. Overall, it was a very relaxing experience, got to see some wildlife, river was nice too! We missed out on renting kayaks, maybe next time.
Site 2 - Little Haven - Wimberley, TX
in Little Haven, TexasSumer and I stayed at Little Haven and it was wonderful. It was two of us and a pup. Clark gave us directions and Lora greeted us upon arrival. She showed us around the property and walked us to our campsite.
The site was a perfect secluded location with all the necessities. The site was a short walk away from the main house and bathroom. We parked about 100 feet away from the site, very convenient.
Their dogs were supper friendly. We also had the pleasure of meeting two of neighbors dogs who turned out to be Poppyâs sisters! They came and played with our pup for a bit, which was great.
The goats are adorable!
Our campsite was site #2 and it had a stunning sunset while we enjoyed dinner.
We forgot mugs for coffee and Clark was kind enough to let us borrow some the next morning. Coffee gave us the energy to explore the trail.
Definitely a good last minute decision to stay at Little Haven. Lora & Clark are amazing people!
