Creekside Manor
in Creekside Manor, GeorgiaLovely site.
I would recommend this campsite for its absolute beauty. There is a lovely creek running through the whole length of it. The waterfall is just charming and made me want to jump in. The fire pit is a very nice iron ring with a cut out pattern. There are party lights a smoker a picnic table and an outhouse.
I would say that we were a bit concerned about the entrance being downhill to a site we couldnât really see because of the trees. Once we got down there it was as stated above. We did manage to get our 25 foot trailer down and turned around. Seemed tight although in the pictures someone else clearly was a Superman driver and got a much larger trailer turned around there. We. Didnât get to stay as long as we wanted to. It has a lot to recommend it.
Cedar Lane - Site 2
in Hawthorn Hollar, VirginiaWe will be back
We brought our 25 ft trailer to Hawthorn Hollar on Sept 4. We found campsite 2 to be a beautiful part sun part shade area about 3 or 4 acres. It was shielded from the other campsite by a thick stand of trees and it was lovely.
The hosts were friendly and helpful with out being obtrusive.
There are miles of well groomed shady trails to hike
or 4- wheel, or possibly bike. There was a fire ready to go and a sweet are with a table topped with a solar light. The stars are amazing from this location. We really loved that.
We really enjoyed our stay there and will return soon.
