As we arrived at the gate we were greeted by the friendly duo, Vic and his dog Beauty. We were showed the way to our campsite which sits beautifully under the shades of scattered gumtrees. The kids were spotting the kookaburra’s laugh at the backdrop of beautiful sunset over the paddock. During the night the fire pit kept us warm and toasty while we gazed at the magnificent night sky, covered in stardust which is a rare gem for us from the city.
Vic has a few campsites to choose from. We picked Willy Wagtail as it was closer to the toilets which was convenient with the kids. The toilet was very clean. The next morning we managed to visit Vic’s other campsites that sit among the bushland and they were covered in wild flowers! Thanks Vic for a great weekend getaway with the kids. It was simply wonderful. We shall be back!
