Hideaway Oaks
in Hideaway Oaks, CaliforniaWe loved staying at Hideaway Oaks. Not difficult to find, private, beautiful night sky, and wonderful hosts. Our campsite had a good amount of shade plus plenty of open areas full of sunshine. The only noises we heard were the wildlife around us, which we enjoyed. There's a fire ring, picnic table, plenty of open area for parking, flat places for tents, and a clean portapotty. We'll definitely be back.

Fun spot for a weekend. Yes, this is a working farm and therefore it has all the charm that would come with that. We were in a spot where we didnât see other campers, but we were able to hear them. That wasnât a problem for us and we enjoyed our stay. Michael was a kind and generous host, and I expect to return at some point. Book and enjoy!

Old West Ranch Site #1
in Silver Fork Ranch, CaliforniaGreat, secluded spot for quiet camping. A friend and I stayed here for 2 nights and enjoyed a campfire (supplied by Rod and included in the price), an easy drive to explore Tahoe and hike, and 40 acres to explore. The drive in is on a marked paved road, and the entrance is big and easy to find. Rod's directions are spot on. Rod greeted us upon our arrival, let us know that he was available if need be, and then we were on our own. Great host. Highly recommend. Will come back.
