Ivania P.has mixed feelings towards this listing.
(Dispersed site)
We booked for 4 nights in tent and choose this host because the amenities included bathroom, shower, water and BBQ.
The property is big and being with all the animals was very fun for the kids but the description is really misleading and the amenities are definitely missing.
When we arrived, we discovered that there is only one port-a-potty bathroom. That was ok because we were the only tent but if there are many campers on the property it will probably not be enough.
And we also discovered that there were no shower except in the cabins. When we read again the description, we finally understand that you have to look all the links to get the details. It is not clear when you read the description and it is really misleading.
The water in the property is actually a faucet on the outside wall of the cabins so not convenient to do the dishes or wash the hands of the kids...
When I reserved I send several message to our hosts thru hip camp but I never get any answer. As we discovered the issue with the showers, we tried to reach the host but we always received automatically message like "I call you back" or "I can not talk now" and they never called us back.
As we received several emails from hipcamp (before our arrival) to ensure we were aware of the fireban, I suppose doing the same thing to avoid any confusion between the amenities in the cabins and those for the tent camping would have been totally feasible.
So may be it is a great place when you will stay in a cabin but if you are in tent, be prepare to do primitive camping. And may be the hosts only care to those in the cabins but we never saw any of them all the time we spend on their property.
Ivania hasn't gone on any trips yet.
Hipcamp Hosts can leave an optional review of their Hipcampers after the trip is completed. This is where those reviews from Hipcamp Hosts will appear.
