in Saddle Up Camp, CaliforniaWonderful weekend on working ranch
This was such an incredible experience - one I can't wait to do again.
Site #2 is a great spot overlooking the entire ranch and the mountains beyond. The spot is narrow, however we fit two cars, a tent, and seating space comfortably. Shade is limited, but we moved our chairs under the one tree at our spot and were fine.
We went horseback riding, volunteered to muck stalls, and watched TJ work her magic on horses who only had limited human interaction previously.
The views from #2 are incredible. We enjoyed the sunsets, listened to all of the farm animals, and explored the property.
Highly recommend!
