Willie Wagtail
in Jabez Farm Moora, Western AustraliaLeft after half an hour
Willie Wagtail was the most unpleasant campsite I have ever visited. It was situated near an old house and a series of decrepit farm sheds, surrounded by decaying farm machinery and empty chemical containers. The 'welcome' pamphlet included a 2 page list of rules, mostly concerning use of the toilets. I looked inside the toilet block and was overwhelmed with the smell of backed-up sewage. We had already paid $44 for a single night which is very steep for a site with no power or shower. There were no redeeming features, my partner and I left after half an hour, opting to spend the night at a roadside pull-over.
