Chalet Monney was a great tip form my family and I. The cabin is cozy and has all the necessary for a get away to big bear. plenty of things to do within 3-5 miles including the alpine slide open year round and dining options. Our host was incredibly communicative and made sure we had a wonderful stay. thank you again.

The rv was a great time for me and my family. I love that the speakers for the aux are heard inside and out. Had a great time listening to music with the bonfire going. Plenty of sleeping room and my first exposure to a composting toilet.

Rusty can ranch was a dream to stay at. secluded enough for you to have a beautiful view of the night sky. The site sleeps 6 and is located well off the paved road so you will want to have all supplies with you before arriving to avoid timely trips to the nearest stores. the winds are strong but i found the the double bed structure stays surprisingly warm inside. bunkhouse is cool but bring extra foam and be prepared for a whistle that comes through in the space between roof and wall. if you want a desert seclusion rusty can is a great choice.

My stay at the dome asylum was truly an amazing experience, from the amazing property with its various art installations and natural pool, to the extremely kind hosts. I am so grateful to have had this experience and to dawn for opening her property to us. Thank you dawn and I hope to one day return to the dome asylum.
