Camp below beautiful starlight
in Camp below beautiful starlight, NevadaGreat spot! Far enough from I-80 to avoid road noise, but close enough to still be convenient. Sadly it was too cloudy to see stars during our stay, but we did see a pretty sunset & the mountain views the next morning were nice. The power plant makes a very low hum & we didn't find the noise from 2 trains to be intrusive.

This is for Valley View Campground. Stayed there Sept 2021. Nice small campground. I stayed in Site 7 with a 17ft trailer & it was perfect. Shade all day over the driveway spot & the tent area/table had shade all morning. The view from this site is spectacular, you can look down at the valley & city below. My only complaint is the the ridiculous amount of flies! They didn't bite, but they were very nosey. Had TMobile cell service throughout the campground.
