Lima Del Rey Vintage Trailer
in Cascade Trails Mustang Sanctuary and Campground, CaliforniaCascade trails was great!
Marissa went above and beyond to be a great host; she and her partner come out to greet you as soon as they see you coming down their drive. Their land is a beautiful slice of the desert, on which are rescued horses that love treats. Waking up with the sun and going out to give the horses some carrots was a magical experience. The trailer itself is adorable, classic, and comfy. Plus, after about four days of sleeping in tents, it was nice to have a shower when we arrived.
Songdog Glampout
in Cuyama Badlands, CaliforniaThe tent at songdog
Jim has a fantastic plot of land in the middle of the reserve and has set up a few sites, all of which feature beautiful views and plenty of peace and quiet. The glamp out tent is spacious and comfortable, and the campsite itself is clean and well put together. It was pretty magical to fall asleep to the sound of the coyotes in the background and the star-gazing is to die for. Jim went well out of his way to make our stay comfortable, and even filled up the cowboy bathtub for us. I know I’ll be back soon.
